Economic youth welfare

Economic Youth Welfare (WJH) is a department within the Youth Welfare Office that provides the financial resources for the identified youth welfare needs in accordance with SGB VIII and manages the administrative processes involved in providing assistance in a professional and lawful manner.

Daycare center fees/daycare

If children attend a daycare facility (kindergarten, crèche), the contribution/fee to be paid by the parents can be covered in full or in part by the youth welfare office if and to the extent that the parents and the child cannot reasonably be expected to bear the financial burden.

The assumption of costs is dependent on income.
