Shareholdings
The Investments division is responsible for managing
- the companies in a legal form under private law in which the City of Gera has a direct interest,
- the memberships of the City of Gera in special-purpose associations,
- the sponsorship of the Gera-Greiz joint savings bank.
The administrative work relates in particular to
- exercising the rights and obligations of the City of Gera as a shareholder, association member or sponsor,
- the establishment, acquisition, dissolution and transformation of companies,
- preparing the necessary documents for informing the City Council and its committees and for their decisions,
- preparing the full-time representatives of the City of Gera for meetings of the companies' governing bodies,
- preparing the annual investment report.
