Public events

Amusements are events that are suitable and intended to entertain, amuse or relax their guests. Under certain circumstances, notification of a public entertainment event may no longer be sufficient; a permit is then required.

An event must be notified to the Public Order Office in good time, but no later than one week before it begins, in accordance with Section 42 of the Public Order Authorities Act. For an event with more than 1,000 people or a motor sport event, the application must be submitted at least four weeks in advance.
