Online hearing
You are regularly given the opportunity to make a statement as part of fine proceedings. If we contact you to question a witness/driver, you can, for example, inform us of the driver responsible for the offense in the event of stopping or parking violations or speeding. As the person concerned, you can make a statement on the allegations in the event of a hearing.
With the online hearing, we offer you another option in addition to sending us your comments by post. You can add attachments (photos, evidence, receipts, etc.) in JPG or PDF format.
In the case of speeding violations, you can call up existing photos.
How does it work?
No registration is required to use the service.
Warnings, hearings, witness interviews and driver findings relating to fine proceedings will continue to be sent by post. These letters contain individual access data (ID and password), which you can use to log in to the online portal and view the alleged offense or the available photos again. In a further step, the personal details can be checked and, if necessary, corrected or supplemented. You can then enter your details and upload attachments. After a summary has been displayed, you can confirm that your statement has been sent and download a copy of it. The response is immediately assigned to the proceedings in the fines office.
Do I have to worry about the data and photos being visible to other Internet users?
No. The information on the process can only be accessed with valid access data. If the validity expires, access will be denied. Your details are transmitted in encrypted form.
Do I need to pay attention when uploading attachments?
You can add up to 5 attachments in pdf or jpg format. The number of pages for documents in pdf format is limited to 5.
