The transport planning department coordinates all planning for the individual modes and means of transport. The basic instrument for this is the traffic development plan. Interpretations and statements of the city of Gera on traffic plans of third parties are supervised and prepared here.

UPDATES: Update of local transport plan

At its meeting on December 7, 2022, the city council of Gera adopted the joint local transport plan for the city of Gera and the district of Greiz. This will be valid for the city of Gera from January 1, 2023.
