Bridge construction/engineering
The bridge and civil engineering department is responsible for all bridges, retaining walls, noise barriers, culverts, traffic sign bridges, stairways and other civil engineering structures in the city of Gera.
The supervision includes the ongoing inspection of the structures in accordance with DIN 1076. Based on the inspection of the structures, maintenance, renovation and new construction measures are planned and implemented.
