Office for Central Control

The Office of Central Management performs a wide range of tasks. The following are assigned to the office

• Economic Development Division  and the
• Statistics and Geoinformation Division.

In addition, administrative controlling and project management are assigned to the head of department.

We support the Lord Mayor of Gera in his tasks by coordinating and processing central and cross-departmental issues. In addition, we develop cross-departmental concepts and support projects for the entire administration, in some cases taking the lead. SMARTCity" is currently one of the most important projects.

The office's task is to prepare strategic decisions for the Lord Mayor and the administration and bring them to implementation maturity. The task is geared towards the interests of the citizens - the customers - as well as the employees of the administration.
